Well, this thread certainly escalated quickly.
I'm going to try an sleep for a few hours and see if hostilities have subsided by sunrise.

Sorry, who said I didn't want NYCFC to win?New rule proposal: if you don't want us to get the best available players, don't fucking post.
We're not your farm team. .
If good players are sent here, yeah, it'll be good for your team. But I for one want the opinions of this forum to reflect those of people who want NYCFC to win, not what is best for a team I personally don't care about.
Are those really kids anymore? Considering NYCFC's limited foreign slot, we are already down to 6 spots left, I doubt NYC will get many more from Euro loans, other than MC's maybe.Man city is also connected with Sporting lisbon. Wonder if we can snag one of their youth players on loan. Sporting pops out talented kids like crazy. Ronaldo, Quaresma, Figo, Joao Moutinho, William Carvalho, Tiago Llori, Miguel Veloso...
And orlando snagged two of benficas yougsters on loan. But sportings academy is way better than benfica's.
I doubt it, City do have a working relationship with Sporting, as they do with many clubs (Such as Oldham, Racing Club, Espanyol, Limerick and Gil Vicente) due to scout/facility sharing or as part of previous negotiations, but I don't think it's strong enough for that to happen. However, MCFC seem to work much more closely with their work permit clubs like Stromsgodset, Hacken and Mechelen. I think that you may see different loans involving these clubs (just like Brovsky at Godset).Man city is also connected with Sporting lisbon. Wonder if we can snag one of their youth players on loan. He would count as a domestic player too, wouldn't he?Throwing a name out - the type of player I think is the next wave of players to join MLS - Giusseppe Rossi.
MLS is never going to challenge for the Top Line players - the Captains of major clubs and country - at least not during their prime.
But MLS has shown a willingness to spend money if the player is worth it. We'll never get that top tier player, but there is a level below it of high skill, in their prime players that we can afford.
Depends on whether or not we continue to recognize Jersey as a state. He would count as a domestic player too, wouldn't he?
I don't know about hate, but he's not very well liked.Doesn't everyone in america hate Rossi? I wouldn't want him in NYC. He can play in Italy somewhere

Empire of Soccer says he's confirmed he has signed with NYCFC. Nothing from the club yet.
