Exceptions to every rule. Both, probably (However city reject BWP is ripping it up here).
While Kreis said he wants to, he also said taking them is complicated because of the foreign player limit, hence I am not convinced he will bring them all over.Kreis has already said he plans on using at least 2/3 City academy boys, and I can't see City letting them go without a promise of first team football. Also, NYCFC can trade/buy extra foreign slots, can't they?
Your welcome!Ok, thanks for clearing that up. I just meant an unspecified US based player really.
I think getting proven MLS vet quality might be more useful than potential college picks. So Expansion Draft #1 probably more useful than SuperDraft #1. Its coin flip so they don't get a choice. Although many great MLS players have come through college and the Super Draft, it seems more and more of the best each year are swallowed up by MLS and foreign academies thus weakening the strength of the draft.hmm....would you rather be #1 in expansion or in the draft? Here are the top rated college players for 2015...slim pickings? or hidden talent? http://www.mlssoccer.com/superdraft...o-are-top-10-college-players-ahead-2015-draft

So you are saying you should be starting up top with David Villa? I feel ya.Let's be honest here, BWP isn't really ripping it up. He's been so lucky and had Henry feed him goals you or I could have scored. Frankly, he's been even luckier than his goal total would indicate. I've seen him miss around 5 sitters or he'd have even more. No one thinks he's very good, even for an MLS striker. It's not like he's out there creating chances for himself. He's just been the beneficiary of an inordinate amount of lucky bounces, plus a few good plays by Henry. No more, no less. He's probably in the bottom half of quality of all MLS strikers.

You do have to admit that BWP isn't exactly a feared guy, despite his goals (6 in 2 matches, right?).So you are saying you should be starting up top with David Villa? I feel ya.
I don't know if MLS defenses fear him, I doubt it. I agree that having Henry has helped many average players. In MLS alone I can think of Cooper, Le Toux and Luke Rodgers all excelled when with him and haven't without him.You do have to admit that BWP isn't exactly a feared guy, despite his goals (6 in 2 matches, right?).
His being better than my old fat ass means very little. And doesn't change that he's still poor enough to miss the number of sitters he has.
People said that about TFC this year. Playoffs? Probably. MLS Cup favorites? Hardly. If NYCFC grab Lampard, Gilardino to play with Villa, then it´s already favourite for the title (of course with some key players hired to backup them).
De Rossi loves the US and often vacations here. But I'm pretty sure he'll follow Totti's footsteps and be a one club player. He's still one of the best defensive midfielders in the world.
Someone else I would be looking at is Nigel De Jong.
Oh when de Jong, goes sliding in...Now you're talking what a good servant he was for City. Rumours in England that a couple of PL clubs are interested, but only rumours at the moment. Hope NYC get him, he comes with a couple of good songs!!!![]()
No. No. No. How much do they want us Americans to forgive???? Lampard and DeJong? I can't take it!Oh when de Jong, goes sliding in...

It's like a least favorite people of all time list.
Good for you and Holden (eta: and my favorite ginger Xabi Alonso). Me? still have a grudge.I'm Spanish and I don't dislike de Jong (neither does Xabi Alonso). I am sure Holden has forgiven him (it is not as if Nigel intended to hurt him).
