Official Seat Selection Discussion

Haha thanks. Didn't mean to bum anyone out with my sob story. I really feel for the folks selecting next week. There's going to be nothing good left.

Not sure how good of an idea this selection process is now seeing how fast all the good seats went.

Wow, you have an amazingly narrow definition of what constitutes "good seats". Sure would first row have been nice in one of my preferred sections, sure, but I knew that was never going to happen. It's funny most of the sections mentioned on here are of little interest to me, I'm going sideline, I'm hopeful the sections mentioned here are indicative of the general interest. Ill be hoping to get something in the first 5 rows but frankly it doesn't really matter whether you're in row 2, 5 or 8.

I select on Tuesday the 16th at 2pm btw.

when in reality there will likely be plenty of great seats left at all price points on game days.

I would agree with this although if this report of 24,000 season tix sold is correct, maybe not. Although that number is shockingly high, hard to believe.

Something to keep in mind -- when you sit in the first row of a 200 level seat, you are likely going to have to lean forward to avoid looking through the railing. Not always the most comfortable way to spend two hours, and especially problematic if you're bringing young ones.
I sat in the front row at a recent Yankee game and the railing doesnt obstruct your view anymore in the 1st row than the 5th. its a low railing. but for kids they can see anything ever anyway. there too small.

Hmmm. You're probably right. I'm picking my seats at 11:40 today, and I still can't figure out where I want to be. I think I'll spend the next few hours in the virtual venue.... and probably still won't make up my mind before 11:40 and will make some gut decision.

Buckley, was that the closest row that was still available in 234?
BXFSC is actually filling up 234 from the back rows forward. We like the overhang cuz we have a high ginger count in our populus. We also like enhanced proximity to beer and the pissers by being in the back. The 2 hanging TV monitors in the back rows are just an added bonus :)

Where was it reported that they sold 24,000 seats? Last I heard they only passed 3,000 deposits a few weeks ago. Add any late comers and an average of 2-4 seats per account and maybe you're floating around 10,000 dedicated seats.

There is a thread about it in the team news and rumors section, sorry not sure how to link it.

nope there was a lot in 234 left when i did but that was 2 days ago. A lot of the back rows are filling up quick though cause its under the overhang

sweet, i'm hoping for a decent row in that section, don't care about being under overhang. thanks.

Done. I got Section 015B, Row 6, Seats 1-4. Was hoping to get front row in section 014B, but these are pretty sweet. Only second row in right above the dugout. I think the elevated view will be a bit better for seeing more of the field, and I'll still be right on top of the game.

I wanted to grab screenshots for folks, but I was nervous that I would lose the seats since they were the last in the row so I rushed. Sorry.

I'm selecting seats today at 4PM and have no clue what seats to pick.

Do you want to be close to the field or would you rather have an elevated view to see more of the field? What categories were you considering (what's your cap)?

My account rep mentioned to me that we won't be getting paper tickets, but a credit card like card. Sounds awesome.

I was looking at SEC 205 & 228 but since I am bit blind my POV will be 100% on one side of the goalie instead of the other. So then I was looking at SEC 226 & 225 since its middle and the POV is perfect but it will be near the Away Supporters and I don't want to snap at some of those doucheb@gs so once again I'm in a crossroad LOL

Since I won't be picking my seats later (waiting on a friend, sadly), and my upgrade is tomorrow. Am I able to screenshot and show the available seats here?

I don't see why you wouldn't have access at your normal time, you're just not going to actually select tix. Screenshots would be very much appreciated! Thanks

The New York Jets do the same thing. You just scan it and walk right in. Just make sure you don't lose it
