I'd assume there would be a print at home ticket option available.I would imagine you swipe it at the gate just like a credit card. On the other hand, how do guys who want to sell/give away their tickets work that out?

There will also likely be a marketplace similar to what the Yankees (I believe) have set up where you can sell your tickets. Not sure how difficult it will be to sell on StubHub.I'd assume there would be a print at home ticket option available.
I didn't get anything. I had to do it over the phone because Ticketmaster crashed on me the first time I did it. I really hope the guy did it right. I thought I'd get some confirmation email right away. Logging into ticketmaster shows me my invoice and the amount I owe, but doesn't say anywhere what seats I selected. Really a poorly designed website.

I just did my tickets and there were some available in 014a I went with row 9 seats 11 and 12 on the aisleJust got mine an hour ago. Most of front row seats are taken, especially in the aisle. Someone earlier said there were lots of empty seats in the 014a/b section, but they were mostly taken as of an hour ago. I settled on Section 129, row 16, on the aisle, which is 5 rows back from the "moat" between that section and the Legend's Club seats. That's the closest aisle seat I could get on that side of the section. On the other side of the section you could get the aisle seats in the 10th row.
That would be great. I've never used Stub Hub, but I heard it's not unusual to have some sort of problem with them. I'll assume with Ticketmaster involved any ticket resale procedure will be similar to the Yankees Ticket Exchange. I've used that system the last 2 years for Yankee games and it works smooth as silk. A big A+ from me, because the tickets are 100% guaranteed by the Yankees and Ticketmaster.Yes it's one of the benefits. Resale through Ticketmaster.

The Yankees went with that because they didn't like the tickets going for less on stubhub, most of MLB goes with stubhub. The NFL use ticketmaster and the NFL ticket exchange, which wont let you list your tickets for less than face value.I think the system NYCFC is planning to use is the exact same as the Yanks. They call it the TM Ticket Exchange.

Yes. For a Thursday afternoon game vs Oakland I got two in Section 415 (right behind 1B) for $17.00 each. I do believe face value for those tickets are $32.50 each. With the yankee ticket exchange can you list lower than face value?
Yes they do. I don't know what they charge for other parts in the ballpark, but for seats in the 400 level the fee is $2.40 per ticket. They also charge $4.95 to email the tickets.I recall they charge a fee, no?

I agree that ticket fees blow (they drive me right up the wall), but nowadays only having to pay $9.75 for an online ticket order is a minor miracle. Guaranteed tickets that are literally in my hands in less than 5 minutes is worth the small fee they bang you for on the ticket exchange.
Stubhub charges 15% for baseball and 10% for the NFL.I think you may have misunderstood my statement. I wasn't referring to paying a fee to BUY tickets via the exchange, I was referring to paying a fee to SELL tickets via the exchange, even at face value.
I'll be wearing a NYC FC pancho. No way i was sitting another 10 rows back just for the couple of games where it will rain if that.I will proudly be seating in SEC 206 Row 14. Overhang seats come in handy for March/April when it pours.
This is from Yankee Ticket exchange page where I sell my Yankee tickets:Oooops, sorry bro. Never sold only bought. Let me see if I can find out.
EDIT
Just went to look things up on the Yankee Ticket Exchange. The seller is not responsible for any shipping or delivery fees. However, they do take a commission when the tickets are sold.
They don't say how much of a cut they take, only that you will be notified of the exact commission value prior to the posting of your tickets. No charges will be incurred unless and until a sale is made.
