Just wondering is there such thing as The quiet Ban? This happens when one hasn't done anything wrong or gone against forum rules to earn a real Ban but yet one finds themselves completely ignored .
No there's not. It's just what people choose to respond to and what they don't. I've had plenty of occasions, on this forum and other places, where I've gone a few weeks without anyone really responding to things I've said, too - it's just standard for forums. Sometimes everything you say will seem ultra-relevant to other posters. Sometimes it just won't. Just gotta keep on trucking.

Facebook is not safe anymore and getting a first smartphone at 52 has become quite Crazy ! I miss my flip phone it kept me out of trouble
here is my vent: the ignore button is woefully inadequate. if an ignored person creates a thread it should not be visible to me even if respectable folk comment in it. I am 100% ok with not seeing a single thing involved even if for some reason the thread becomes a source for breaking stadium news. Ignore doesn't do the job if crazy people can open 100 threads with 100 bat shit crazy titles in any folder they want regardless of whether it belongs.
I just don’t get why ESPN, FoxSports etc. so often spoil the result of the game they are rebroadcasting by showing the score on the running ticker. My son and I started watching one of the FA Cup games tonight on FoxSports and the ticker showed the score a minute later. Can’t be that difficult of a fix to avoid that.
Yes. 100% Yes. They are halfway through the highlights and BAM, there is the final score on the bottom ticker. Absolute terrible coordinating, especially on the first episode of SportsCenter showing the highlight.
Even the morning episodes should avoid this.
Even worse, I am talking about a full game.
This is the worst when you're trying to watch champions league games at night on replay. I have to change the zoom on my screen to block out the ticker.
At my tipping point with people asking for directions who are holding a smart phone in their hand.... happens daily in my neighborhood while I’m walking my dog. If you’re talking/texting you have a working plan so use your F’ing google map.
