Golf umbrellas are obnoxious. But I do think its perfectly acceptable to have an umbrella in the snow.
When I walk the streets, I'm usually with a client. So I carry a golf umbrella to protect both of us. What's the verdict on that one?
I carry a golf umbrella because I'm 6'2". Y'all are right though. People are annoying as all get out with umbrellas.

Damnit. Found this thread to vent about something that was really annoying me. And I literally blanked on it while reading and nodding about annoying umbrella users.
