It's for our official purposes as we link it to our roster page with player profiles. I've been at work all day and still at work till 8. So won't have one up till tonight unless einwindir beats me to itWhy can't I start a thread on the player roster forum?

Fuck the probable sense that we had the game in hand when we were up two goals.

Fuck being the only mls team to lose to a non mls team in the cup.
Fuck me for watching that game (might be just me but I veiwed it more as a friendly)
But I'm kinda fucking glad that we don't have to worry about planning for the cup.

To be fair DC United lost before we did by a non MLS team... by about an hour lol
Its the US Open Cup, although I am still very upset we lost, considering how crappy the NASL and the Cosmos are...I mean seriously did you see that lineup they had??????????? Once we decided we didn't want to win the game anymore by subbing Poku and Hernandez out, I knew we were heading down this road. SMH..anyway, its the US Open Cup, these things happen. I too am glad we don't have to worry about it anymore but I just so hate Savarese and the Cosmos, I wanted to shove it down their throats in their own crappy college campus stadium.
The main prize for NYCFC is to make the playoffs and to beat Redbulls. In the off season we will add depth to help play US Open Cup games. I fully expect players like Wingert, Brovsky, Grabavoy to be gone next year, and either play for the cosmos or just flat out retire. As the league gets better in quality, these types of players will not have a spot in MLS. They will go the Carlos Mendez and Freeman route, aka MLS Scrubs playing in the NASL, maybe even the Cosmos.
Three chances to win the game and all blown...Ballouchy didn't pass to Mullins, Alvarez misses a penalty kick, Mullins misses the final penalty kick. Then Facey misses his to give the Cosmos the win. FUCK.
You all forgot Kreis favorite RSL veteran Ned Grabavoy missing his PK like a newborn.
