That’s crazy - the water heater and furnace and floors are the really painful ones to read. Hopefully no mold behind the walls.That much is still a pain. We had a couple of inches back in the spring, but are set up to deal with that much pretty well. We had 3.5 feet in Irene, and our basement is basically our family room. Lost the couch, TV, washer/dryer, water heater, furnace, small refrigerator, floor, walls, etc.
Since then, the village has installed a flood mitigation system, so we should be good going forward.
