I prefer stadiums where the turf rolls in and out. Too hard to grow grass with a retractable roof.
I only know of that in Arizona (Cardinals). I don't know about the extra space that Tottenham will use for the turf for NFL matches.

I only know of the one in Arizona too, but I like the idea a lot, and now it is shown to be feasible.I only know of that in Arizona (Cardinals). I don't know about the extra space that Tottenham will use for the turf for NFL matches.
I mean, damn, at least we're not the Knicks.
Whenever you see the Knicks draft or develop a talented young player, it won't be long before that dude is playing for someone else. You can practically set your watch by it.
Forgot about that.Wished he signed with the Jets. Would have been better for both teams.

The best ever interview in FCA mags when you were a high school athlete.Heisman winner. Great arm and could run. Taller than Vick. Better leader.
Well it obviously works for Tottenham. Right, adam ?Since the grass gets a limited amount of natural light I wonder how feasible it is in places that don't get the constant year round sunshine that Arizona does. It's a really neat concept. That stadium opened in 2006 so there has been plenty of time for others to copy the concept yet no one has. That tells me it is either super expensive or dependent on having environmental conditions similar to Arizona in order to be feasible.
ETA: 2nd thought - 5 might be generous. I think I know 3. We in trouble. As far as athletes and Christians. Near zero representation around here.

If lighting is the problem they could probably just use the massive wheeled UV lighting systems that some teams have to keep their pitches growing/alive throughout the season.Since the grass gets a limited amount of natural light I wonder how feasible it is in places that don't get the constant year round sunshine that Arizona does. I would imagine it’s maximally feasible since you are growing the grass out in the open where shade from the stands or an overhang won’t interrupt the sunshine. If you can’t grow grass in the middle of an open field in winter - with tending by a full grounds crew - then you can’t grow it.Since the grass gets a limited amount of natural light I wonder how feasible it is in places that don't get the constant year round sunshine that Arizona does.
