And now has his 2nd hat trick in MLS
Hadn't scored a goal all year, then goes and gets 4.Uh, 4 goal game.
I feel like Mullins is the type of player that Berhalter could get more out of with his system.
So should we presume that this means DC will be playing Rooney at striker?
They first better make sure he survives practice in the DC heat.... he’s lucky the heat wave was last week and not now.So should we presume that this means DC will be playing Rooney at striker?
That’s a ridiculous goal tally per start. Many strikers would be excited to average 1g/2starts.Hopefully, Patrick gets some good time at Columbus. He's a solid backup striker. Could use him at NYCFC right now to be honest.
Let's see. DC acquired him from us for unspecified TAM/GAM and 1.5 years of an international roster spot (that we used for Chanot). They got 2 years, 26 starts and 13 goals from him and then moved him for $150K of TAM.
He had a decent half season for them after we traded him to DCU in the 15/16 season, scoring 8 goals in 14 games. Since then hes had 5 goals across 1.5 seasons (appearances in 30 games), with 4 of those goals coming in one single game (vs. the Quakes). Not exactly great numbers the past 1.5 seasons. Initial view looks nice, but he either hasn't done anything or been used in a way to help him succeed like he did in the second half of the 2015/16 season.That’s a ridiculous goal tally per start. Many strikers would be excited to average 1g/2starts.
NER-->NYC-->DC-->CLB-->TFC
Patrick Mullins continues his tour of MLS Eastern Conference teams, having been traded from Columbus to Toronto in return for Jordan Hamilton, and International slot, $50k TAM and ROFR over an undisclosed player.
