While we *are* dangling keep in mind that Orlando is as well. Yes it's frustrating that we don't know if he'll play but it can definitely be an advantage for us that neither does Orlando. If it was announced last Sunday that Lampard would not be playing the match that'd be a whole week that Orlando's coaches would not have to plan and train their players for him. This way they just don't know, so they've got to be at least just a little off balance.
Sounds like someone needs to make a GIF of that response.

Crap, that one scared *me* and I'm just sitting here reading the forum.
The sad reality is that Lampard is going to make his first appearance for the All Star game and then receive a career ending injury.
If he's not fit to play on Sunday I can't see him being fit on Wednesday. Or at least can't see them risking him. Wouldn't be surprised if he made an appearance but it's hard to imagine him playing.

While I sympathize with the Lampard angst, I think Kreis' reaction is unrelated. It's a press conference to introduce Pirlo. Teams always find it to be bad form from the press if they ask questions that are not pertaining to the subject matter, particularly during the actual conference (sometimes players and coaches will be available after to answer more intimate questions). Clearly, I think it is all fair game, but nevertheless, someone asking about Lampard during a Pirlo conference may have annoyed him. That and he clearly had no update worth noting. Annoying.
Your first sentence is contradicted by everything that followed it.
While I sympathize with Cosmos and NJ fans who hate your team, I thought I would come over to your forum to laugh about Lampard. Expect a few articles on my site about how the Lampard and Pirlo debuts will affect the Cosmos and the Red Bulls. Annoying.
I just think he doesn't know what unrelated means.

Can I just say, if NYCFC players were Pokémon, then I'm fairly confident a Mix Diskerud would evolve into a Andrea Pirlo.

I was saying that the question itself annoyed him not because of his own disdain for Lampard, but for the perceived "inappropriate nature" of asking about Lampard at a Pirlo presser. I added the "clearly had no update worth noting. Annoying." aspect because we are all assuming what he was feeling. Just being fair. It's what I do.
... And I cover all three teams, hang with several NYCFC fans, and am not a fan of any individual team. Nor did I come by to laugh at the Lampard situation, which has been tragic. Anyone who claims I have a bias isn't paying attention.
