If it's a Columbia gown try and find out if he knows anything about that site for a stadium.
It is Columbia. I'll do my best but I don't think the guy is part of the facility planning.

Well now I regret not spending $7k.In addition to the previous gifts of the blanket and wallet, they gave out 16 GB NYCFC USB drives
How was it? Recommended vs the city send off?Ooooh... I finally spent some points. I just got a pre-match field pass for my wife.

Adding to the gifts they give out, during the LA match they handed out white towels with the NYCFC logo and Pitchside Seating Club in sky blue.
I saw those. Looked nice actually. Better than a backpack or messenger bag.
Maybe just offer to dry the tears of opposing players. They're not big enough though to be beach or shower towels so I don't know what use I'll have to them. Maybe a hand drying towel.

LionNYC looks like I will be joining you pitchside on Thursday. Any suggestions for a bacon eating pescatarian? Seriously - I only eat fish and vegetables (and occasionally bacon)...and post-match empanadas.

You can ask about Mehdi and Mix there lolPitchside Season Ticket holders are invited to an Exclusive Open Training session the week of the FC Dallas game. Exclusive and Open in the same sentence...
Good recap and great seeing LionNYC there.Today I went to Purchase to see that training session open to Pitchside members. There were roughly 20 people there and a whole bunch of NYCFC staff as my ticket rep told me they're having a field day for some team building activities.
Practice was pretty the same from what you see on the videos. They rotate what they do depending on the day. For example, today they didn't have that course where players will do different things as they go around the field. Today was mostly building up from the back on a full field and mini field. Interesting, the players don't wear shin guards when they train and at times players will make hard tackles. One of two players were down for a few seconds (Mendoza in particular) then got back up.
Patrick is a very aggressive coach. He's loud and constant talking throughout the session. However, he'll stop the practice and talk one on one with a player to tell they something. He spoke with McNamara during the full field training to tell him how to move up the field.
After, they did some running and cool down stretching. Saunders, McNamara, and Allen were the only players that came over before I left as I had to go to work. However JayH can fill everyone else in on who came afterwards. I probably should have taken the whole day off to stay for everything.
Based on the players together in training, I have a good feeling we'll see RJ starting. However, our CB pairing may be Mena-Brillant.
Finally MLS Digital was there doing some interviews. I saw Susannah Collins. Since she was close by during the training session I should have said hello and that I'm a big fan of This Week in MLS, but like the players she has a job to do.
Still waiting for NYCFC to host an open practice in Central Park.

We were the two hyper-vigilant fans there who had a funny moment where we saw Villa wince on a play and then both later panicked as we scanned the fields and couldn't find him. One of the staff relieved us by identifying him on the far side.
I thought that the working out of the back drills were very cool to watch with PV limiting play to one or two touches and really hammering on break-out positioning.
I agree that it looks like we may get our Mata and RJ wish.
As for other players who came by, both PV and Jack spent some time as well and they were both awesome.
I will think on whether I have anything else to add.
