Pro - Any other team that names a head coach will never reach the same magnitude of NYCFC. We're what the league needs, and it's good to see us trailblazing.

Not sure if it's a pro or a con, what's Vierra's track record with academy kids actually amounting to something? Was Lopes or Iheanacho his graduates?

Pro- Chances are he takes a hatchet to our shit roster
Con- We have cockroaches that will inevitably avoid the hatchet blade

Pros
- Expert in one of our weakest spots, CDM, so hopefully he will bring a good one in or transfer some of his knowledge to whatever current player will fill that role next year.
- His resume will command respect from our DPs
- Inside knowledge of the EDS system that will help him pick the right players to take on loan
- CFG insider so they will trust him and hopefully be more willing to send the best EDS players
- Player development experience

Cons
- No first team coaching experience

Yes I like this a lot I just wanted to get a feel and see if people thought more negatively of the hire or positively

Pros:
Effort not likely the primary determinant of playing time.
May appreciate the things those born after 1990 can bring to the game.
Stands 6'4", so chance of napoleon complex low.

Cons:
Unfamiliar with MLS, so may not know when to sub off a veteran in a close game to allow opposing fans to clap.
Does not appreciate american playing style of kick the ball that way, hard, and see if it goes in.
French, so may try to surrender to opposing coaches.
