Reselling Season Tickets

I love that I signed up on the first day and got an early pick for seats. I did not realize how miserable my front row 213 seats would be on a sunny afternoon. Fortunately, people are like me see "front-row!" and insta-buy, and therefore I have been very successful at dumping my seats on short notice for a nice profit!

Front row is worth the heat in my opinion.

Plus, you will be happy with the warm sun when the playoffs start in November.

So whats the status on reselling tickets to people on the forums? is there a section for this? I recall seeing something like saying tix for sale, but don't mention #s and make the sale privately. is there an official policy?

Personally I would always want to make a profit on my tickets, however, I have done a terrible job attempting to do so. I have probably resold for a slight profit a few times, but more often then not I just give them away for free to friends. Sometimes it seems like I can't find anyone to less appealing matches. One time I grabbed a guy off the streets in front of the stadium just so it wouldn't go to waste. I couldn't even give away the last match tickets. Unfortunately I found this site after the game, or I would have posted the tickets up for free to anyone who wanted.

There's a thread for this, sorta. It's called the Ticket Inquiry Megathread, in the NYCFC Discussion forum, in the Matchday subforum. I say "sorta" because you can't really sell or buy them there but you can post that you either have or want tickets. If you go to the first post it's all explained there and it works pretty well.

My tickets sold pretty well, almost always over face when I sold them. Except for the last game, when I had to drop them to below face value and they sold like 3 hours before kickoff!
