I'm now convinced Yankee Stadium contributes to NYCFC's woes.
A new stadium can't come soon enough.

When we play at YS, I'm pretty sure the other team is also playing at YS. In 4 home games we have failed to score on the SS (non-infield-garbage) side of the field. Our opponents have done better. Our shitty field should be an advantage to us as the team that is used to playing on its shittiness.I'm now convinced Yankee Stadium contributes to NYCFC's woes.

Playing on a unique field could even the odds. Especially as the away team is likely to sit deeper, playing very compact, it chokes off the space for the home team. So while nycfc could be "used" to playing at YS, the tactics of the game combined with the impact of the field make it more difficult to properly execute our game plan. When we play at YS, I'm pretty sure the other team is also playing at YS. I get what you are saying, but I wouldn't think of it as "evening" but rather as disrupting. Weather can disrupt both teams, but when Miami plays at Green Bay in December, advantage goes to Green Bay. They are used to that weather. They've even learned to like it. It seems we haven't learned to like our small and screwed up (infield) pitch.Think of it like playing in bad weather, both teams have to deal with it but the evening effect brings down one team more than the other.

Just a theory.
Add to that, the away team is more than happy with a tie, so there's no incentive to push their game forward. Whereas NYCFC has to play for three points and a tie is always seen as failure. YS hurts us way more than it helps.Playing on a unique field could even the odds. Especially as the away team is likely to sit deeper, playing very compact, it chokes off the space for the home team. would only be the younger guys. location not even announced and I'd "guesstimate" that we wouldn't play our first game until in new stadium until minimum of 3 years from announcementWill any current members of the team ever play at our SSS, whenever that may come to be?
Feeling pessimistic, but probably not.
Was going to be my point. You focus on winning at home and try to steal points away (generally, unless your vastly better then its not stealing but expected). Everyone comes here and play a style to not lose plus the odd chance a set piece goal can steal it for them. It hurts us that this field sucks and we end up getting all these ties. Doesn't help that our set piece specialist sky's every ball over the goal. We are in a bad situation that we need to be getting our points on the road, where the crowd and travel fatigue can influence the game against us.Add to that, the away team is more than happy with a tie, so there's no incentive to push their game forward. I have to imagine they are holding onto the information like an ace in their pocket waiting to play it if the fans start to revolt, like say halfway through if we keep looking like shit they are going to release the news, then spam the hell out of it to distract the fans. This and and a new DP will be used to placate the fan base if the season turns south.Okay well that's fine... But do you atleast know when the information that you know may be let known to the public? Or can you not tell us that either?
Gio Reyna, our first homegrown player will score our first goal at our new stadium... in 2020.would only be the younger guys. location not even announced and I'd "guesstimate" that we wouldn't play our first game until in new stadium until minimum of 3 years from announcement

the house that kreis built, Harrison wouldn't be here without him.Maybe they'll call it the "House that Harrison Built"
Hahaha, yes, the site has been mentioned; there's stuff, though, that has not, in 253 pages, been brought up that's being explored. But, I wouldn't expect any of the info I got to be made public until the team announces anything, and I wouldn't expect that for a while. The tone of what I got was a net negative, but there's reason in "trusting the process" with CFG. Think of it as a microcosm of their entire mission -- they want to engage with as many people as possible. Their Chinese investment, their NYC investment... they want something popular with the masses to draw as many people as possible, and that's part of their focus in the stadium search, it seems. Accessible, attractive, New York City seems to be the message.
I see what you did there.... Bravo.... Bravo....the house that kreis built, Harrison wouldn't be here without him.
Hong Kong stadium confirmed.Their Chinese investment
