If it worked in Captain America, Chrono Trigger, and Borderlands 2.Have we seriously not discussed the idea of a flying stadium in this thread yet?
That might be about 300 pages back. Discussed with renderings. As well as an underwater stadium.Have we seriously not discussed the idea of a flying stadium in this thread yet?
That's what 7,200 posts of nothing will bring you.Forum search for floating stadium yields 36 posts: have at it.
They're actually the leaders in sports architecture (Formerly HOK Sport), so it's not surprising for them to have so many projects. MLS may have contracted them league-wide, but more likely investor groups go where the experience is congragated. So throwing some shit at the wall and seeing if it sticks.
We have no stadium news but always good to have something to talk about.
Populous opened an office in NYC as we all know and they're led by Jonahan Mallie who made a Twitter account and followed NYCFC right away.
Checked it to see if anything interesting has been retweeted recently and came up with a couple.
Also they worked on Minnesota and Orlando stadiums. Could be that MLS even contracted them to work on all MLS projects.

From March 2016, but not quite exactly floating:Have we thought of suspending a stadium between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge? Have we thought of a floating stadium in the Jackie Onassis Reservoir?

I had posted a while back.I dont see anything that has happened,is it still up for sale?
Maybe make that metronorth stop larger and add shuttle train from grand central. The 1 train at 207th street is close, and A train 5-10 min walk.
Not sure if stadium would fit, but as mentioned on this thread various times, maybe part of it on river.
You sort of do have views of the manhattan skyline (midtown)
looks like a big vag, smack dab in the middle of NYC. Love it.
at least you didn't point out that it's right next to the empire state building, because that would've taken things too far.looks like a big vag, smack dab in the middle of NYC. Love it.
