For everyone regretting having to take a railroad to the 7 to get to our new stadium, note that you can also take the Long Island Railroad there as well. Penn Station to Flushing in minutes. And by the time we get our stadium they may have even completed the LIRR-to-Grand Central connection to make it even easier.
By the time we get our stadium, we could all be retired to Florida.... at least the Team-50 guys... maybe us Team-40 too...

Ha! You think we'll have the East Side Access complete in our lifetimes?

Argument A: I completely anticipated there would be at least a small amount of just this such reaction to my post.
Argument B: I am not unaware of the sheer number of lawyers we have on the forum.
Argument C: Neither a statement nor a promise of any actual completion date was either given or implied in my post.
Conclusion: I am therefore not in any way liable for causing stadium-delay angst nor vulnerable to any no-way-Jose derision.
Shorter conclusion: No prob, I got this.
Even shorter conclusion: pffffffft

Thank you.

Never going to happen. Developers will build condos here. Without a doubt. Not going to waste their time on a arena for 17 home games.

That's true of every potential plot
of land in NY. If it's impossible there, then it's simply impossible. And waste whose time? Developers? Cause they have no existing claim to the property and Local pols there have been supportive of a SSS.

Yes/no. Lots of Pols, including I think our current mayor, are supportive of the Willets West plan that was just shut down and they're planning to go to the state legislature to get the necessary approval they tried to do without. A mall/housing development is still the most likely outcome I think.

I don't necessarily disagree but to say it's impossible or "never" is an over reach. Or, if it's not, then like I said, building a stadium anywhere in NYC is likely impossible for same/similar reasons. Nobody is going to look at a stadium as the best possible use of land.

And I think that guy is an f.Cosmos fan. He only shows up to shit on anything anyone is happy about.
