Much different experience here. Had a great tailgate. Great views from my seats. Bathroom piss was quicker then at YS. Loved the crowd atmosphere. Only issue is they didn’t have enough food stands open or team store. But I already ate at the tailgate, so didn’t really care about stadium food, like I’m forced to at YS.

The Coca Cola porch overhang above the Supporters' Section really amplified the sound and that was a huge reason why the crowd experience was better. All the sound at Yankee Stadium goes up, so it has no lasting effecting.

I don't think Citi Field expected that many people to come out to a soccer game so it's likely they understaffed that day for concessions and such.

Well, he has supposedly told people, including those on here, that he knows Belmont is unpopular, so I have to believe it's not that he's clueless.

Lol, the club doesn't care what people think. They will play the "Belmont was unpopular" tune because they're not getting it and it's going to the Islanders. Plans leaked last week. Not happening. Club will play it off like nothing, but that's going to be the big update, we are not going to Belmont.

Dude is a troll, ignore what he says. Lol
This thread breeds some of our best trolls. There's this guy who every few months proclaims that we are never getting a stadium because his girlfriend's dog sniffs another dog at the dog run whose dog walker's cousin works for the zoning office of New York and the cousin once told his dog walking cousin, who told the dog he walks, who told his dog run pal, who told his owner, who told her boyfriend that it's difficult to build a stadium in New York City.

I don't know when it will happen, but I feel very confident we will get a stadium in the five boroughs. There has simply been too much smoke and there has been a good and growing relationship with the city over the past few years.

If the GAL site goes on the market, what other developments may pursue it? It doesn't seem ideal for high priced residential or commercial office development. Retail? Industrial? Warehouse/distribution?
