So them not saying anything could mean a stadium announcement is close, a stadium announcement is not close or somewhere in between?

Schrödinger's Stadium.
It's close - which apparently means by the end of the year.
Makes me wonder why exactly a proposal would take so long? Do we have options and are now really trying to figure out which one we want? Are we waiting for any new politicians to work with? If there are three options, after nearly 7 years of existing, surely we have everything ready at this point and are still doing some kind of research on each area.
Also, considering when you start from scratch and look at every plot of land that is big enough to fit a stadium, there are hundreds in the City. Ownership really probably did go for the most attractive (Manhattan, LIC, Brooklyn) first and then worked their way into the outer boroughs, where we're winding down on three specific locations. Can't say I'm too upset, since we've seen renderings from places all over. It is only logical that we dreamed big and then got realistic.

Three possible sites. 1. Willis Ave = HRY. 2. 153rd St = GAL. 3. Not listed for Bronx meeting because it’s in Queens = Willets Point.

If we're really back to square one still deciding on 3 locations this organization is incompetent.
They're clearly waiting on a proposal for the concrete portion of the stadium, not saying there is not a specific proposal.
