This is what I said earlier, a stadium won't fix all the front office problems in fact it will likely get worse. There will be considerable more season ticket accounts (depending on the price jump when we move into a stadium), so while the additional revenue may increase the number of staff, the ratio of accounts to staff will increase. Plus, all the issues people have will be more NYCFC related than Yankees/Yankee Stadium related, so they have to address more issues that come up.

Yup. Listen I love going to games and I love the team, but the front office is a sideshow. The organization is not run well. They have fundamental issues in the boardroom that, frankly, are going to get blown to pieces when they have to be accountable to a new stadium.

So your interactions are what exactly?

Stadium security? Yankees
Stadium food? Yankees
Stadium merchandise? Yankees
Stadium ushers? Yankees
Tickets? NYCFC

What am I missing here? My interactions with the ticket reps are the best interactions I have with the club. Couple that with a great digital media team and I don’t know what more you people want.

You're easily perplexed or a very undemanding consumer.

Every interaction the club has with its fans and STHs, whether 1x1 or broadly, from ticket and concession pricing decisions to scheduling decisions to Cityzens programs to security issues and more is customer service.

They're bad at it now and my sense from every communication is that they thing a stadium announcement will make everything great.

SCHEDULING DECISIONS? You think NYCFC has any control over that?

Just another thing that a stadium solves. All of the things you complain about in this thread go back to the lack of a stadium.

The two items you mention that they do have control over, Cityzens and Ticket Reps, are strong points in my experience.

Is it possible, and I'm just talking possible, that people who aren't you have a different experience than you do?

Also, cold-weather late afternoon, non-national TV start times (of which we have many) are at the discretion of the team.

No. They’re really not. I’m telling you that the club has such a lack of control over most of your complaints.

Yes, maybe other have a different experience with their ticket rep. I’m sorry to hear that. But the club has control over 4 things - signings, ticket reps, fan outreach and digital media. They’re great at fan outreach and digital media. Signings have been good, not great. My ticket reps have been fantastic.

I’m watching the LA G v LAFC match and it looks like an entirely different league. I don’t understand how CFG can be so “Bush League” when it comes to our stadium.

On another note:
Watching Pavon makes me wonder about CFG/NYFC scouting.

it's not just the banc, but the allianz and hell, even orlando's stadium. they're all great SSS. When we eventually build ours, it better be lauded as THE BEST SSS in the country. Or CFG just doesn't love us and we need new owners.

also: what are you talking about Vernon? Heber is fantastic.. and Mitri has good potential when he plays with more passion. and Taty is developing into one of our best players and he's only 20. Pavon is only on loan too.. if they decide to buy him, he's gonna cost them 20 million. CFG would never pay that ha.

I love Heber and Taty.
Not sold on Mitri.

Against RB he looked like a complete player. Maybe he has trouble getting up for lower key games. Maybe our dalliances with 4 central midfielders in that match gave him more freedom to get between the lines. Whatever it was, I was pleasantly surprised and I'm hoping he can put a string of good performances together going into playoffs.
