Stadium Discussion

Moving the finish line to September 2019 now.

EDIT: It's not even the finish line really, it's just the end of the first leg of a triathlon.

I'll believe it when I see it...

Nearly certain about that, but the other post mentions an NYCFC stadium announcement (BRONX) coming next month.
He said it’s NYCFC. Not sure if you guys dropped down the comments but there were a few more replies and he says he works for a company that’s working on the project and it should be announced next month.

Is there any way to reach out to this guy?

let's be real here... anybody can go on reddit and post something like that to feed the need of hungry NYCFC fans...

if true, it's only 1 month away. we've waited this long, we can wait another month to see if it's legit.
Posting history doesn't show any sports/soccer affiliations. I don't doubt it's someone involved, but probably not anyone at the top of the totem pole who would know anything about timelines. Anyone involved at a respectable/truly knowledgeable level of these things doesn't post info that's been kept in the dark for years.

Also looking at two years of his comments, he never spoke of the team before. Seems pretty random for it to be a troll comment.

What you guys are missing about the "He never spoke about it before" is that he said it's the company he works for. Could be he got hired recently? Could be he's never heard anything about NYCFC until recently? who knows.
regardless, I still think it's bs.

Kind of rings true to me. I’ve spoken with 3 different people who work for contractors or potential contractors this calendar year. There are plenty of people who are working on it outside the Club, although most are professional enough to keep it off the Internet.
