Yes, construction can take place 7 days/week. Each worker doesn’t work 7 days straight, it’s a combination of crews to staff the jobs.

How do you think so many construction projects get away with Sunday construction? It’s typically the largest of jobs because the owners realize there’s more to gain by being open sooner than is lost to extra GC costs. Every day quiet on the job site is a lost opportunity with interest ticking on their construction loan/no ability to sell the condo or rent the space.

i'm all for it if it's doable! Someone challenge Elon Musk to build it in 2 years. he'll try to do it in 1 and call BdB some names. it'll be epic.

Or is that not it?

well yea thats why i said even with different crews, i guess it depends on the unions used, some ok with it others no. i mean buildings in my area go up all the time and rarely do i see any workers on weekends.

if they don't have enough founding members to make the wall, they'll just run a "founding member upgrade promotion" to any STH. Pay a little extra and earn founding member status and all the benefits of it!

they’re already undercutting FM pricing, so what’s the point?

Just because you don’t see it doesn’t mean anything. It’s not something to argue.

It depends on the owner writing the check and if they want to foot the bill for the union-Labor shifts that are non-standard first shift.

Just stop. Really, just stop.

You refuted facts (that construction takes place in the city seven days a week) with an opinion (“I feel like unions won’t allow...”). You were wrong so just drop it.

But now you’re moving the goalposts with whether CFG wants to cut the check. Wanting to is not the same as needing to, which was my initial premise.

If you read my initial post, I said that ownership needs to look past the extra construction cost because long term damage is being done to their Brand which is bigger than the hit to their wallet for overtime.

Don’t believe me - then just look across the river at RB who wasted a decade+ before RB Arena was built because they wouldn’t splash the cash, so they now have no following, are poorly attended, and don’t move the needle on the soccer landscape of marketing or notoriety.

hey man i didnt know and gave my experiences. i still dont think 7 day work weeks will happen.

the brand been taken hits since year one, some of it by CFG's own doing. also, with single entity structure and more and more teams coming in with their fees im sure CFG aint worried about their wallet, they will probably get their initial investment from the league if they want to sell the team.

Great read, more smoke more signs of fire. Let's be realistic, those waiting for their brick... You think it will be a nice big brick or a small 8pt font where noone will see. (I hope my damn brick or at least 14pt font.) :(

you'll get your 14pt font brick... it'll just be placed in the floor directly below a urinal with everyone else's.
