Personally I’d wait for confirmation of location. Even that might be another year or two. You make the call tho.Since we all know the stadium will be in the Bronx...I've been thinking of changing the poll from "Where Do You Want to Stadium?" to "When Will It Open?". Thoughts?NYCFC_Dan
Good point. Although when they announce the location, it's very likely the timeline to open is 2-3 years.

Nothing new at all regarding stadium progress. Sims does answer questions about having to play more midweek games and how that's frustrating for everyone.

If the jets and the Olympic bid committee were not able to get a stadium approved in Manhattan then Nycfc never even had a chance.
The biggest reason that didn’t happen is that the corrupt Sheldon Silver held it hostage in the Senate for completely unrelated reasons.
They appear to be doing it in the Delta club -- or whichever the one is that's behind home plate on the 100 section.
I just hope that the narrow field doesn’t prohibit any vaccinations
Been awhile since I've been in the stadium so I forget which entrance Delta is, but the vaccine area is Gate 4 at the corner of 161 and Macombs Dam Br Ave (before it turns into Jerome near Gate 2). They've also opened some of the ticket windows up to schedule appointments because people were coming without one. So far open every day from 8am-8pm, handling up to 15,000 appointments per week. The capacity is based on vaccine availability, not what they can actually handle.
