I was lucky enough to be quick on the draw and get a Star Wars shirt using my Cityzens points. I was kind of annoyed, however, to find out that they were giving them away to single-game ticket purchasers.

I then wondered if it would be worth my while to sell my regular seats and purchase a pair eligible for the t-shirt, so I went to the website and entered the STARWARS code. Guess what I discovered?

Nobody, but nobody is getting a "FREE" Star Wars shirt. The tickets that are available for $25 are magically $34 when you buy the ticket with the STARWARS code.

So the free shirt only costs $9! Not to mention the additional $5 you aren't saving when you don't use the STH discount.

May the Schwartz Be With You!

Spoke to NYCFC Fan Services about getting in on the Star Wars shirt outside of the Cityzens portal since they're sold out.

Honestly, I think this must have something to do with Star Wars licensing. The Astros (yes, I'm an Astros fan) have been advertising getting a Orbti (their mascot)/Star Wars bobblehead at one of their games, but you have to buy the ticket at the special price to get one.

Hahaha... when you think about it, Poku does sound like it belongs in Star Wars.
