I have waited this team for 20 years and I am very happy that it is now a reality. I have watched ALL the NYCFC games in this season ( even the first friendly games.... ) and after 2 months of the MLS, I can say to be very diasappointed by Kreis and by almost every player, even if I know that it is a completely new team.

I see a Jason Kreis totally STRESSFULL and CONFUSED :
1) Is it impossible for me to realize the reason so that GRABAVOY must always play !!!!
2) The defensive system of this team is simply embarassing ( and luckily that there is a great goalkeeper..... ).
3) Shelton thinks to be CR7 ...........
4) Mix and Villa don't put the heart in the games.
5) Is absurd to lose the first Hudson derby when the NJRB have played 1 hour in 10 men ( we have suffered a goal and an almost goal after the Miazga expulsion... ).

I think that also Reyna MUST TO REALIZE that the NYCFC fans TO DESERVE RESPECT and tha now it is ABSOLUTELY NCESSARY to buy a great 3° DP player if we want to hope to achieve the playoff !!

However always GO NYCFC !!!!!!

Kreis and Grabavoy won an MLS Cup together in Salt Lake. He only sees him as a champion.

I totally agree that the defense is a mess, and yesterdays game really showed how much we have to work on it. But yesterday we had to handle one of the best strikers in MLS and we couldn't handle RB's fast counters.
I have a hard time to believe that only two players should put the heart in the games or get the blame because they are two of our most important players. Yesterday we had eleven players on the pitch. If we're losing, we're losing as a team. And in yesterdays game we couldn't take advantage of the red card. Sometimes it's harder to play against a team with a man down, and RB made the best of the situation.
I've said it before..it's gonna be a tough season. And maybe we'll not make the playoffs. We have a completely new team. And it takes more than 10 games to get everything working.
But sure that doesn't mean that we can't criticize the team efforts or certain players. That's how we fans are working.

1) Grabavoy sucks. Our options behind him suck more. You're talking Medhi Ballouchy and Velasqeuz.
2) It's also the defensive system of Man City. Remember all that talk about playing the City way? NYCFC are doing it, but clearly lack the skill in defense to pull it off. That's not surprising considering MCFC have lacked the skill to really do it this year.
3) A month ago people on here were demanding Shelton start. I'm all about a Villa/Mullins tandem in the starting lineup with Shelton as a sub.
4) Bullshit. Mix has been putting a lot of energy into making tough defensive plays to save the asses of the crap midfield around him. Villa's been hurt and been getting double teamed with terrible service. C'mon.
5) Why is it absurd to lose when your team has been very bad and your on the road against last year's semifinalist? Look, New Jersey is good this year. They'll probably win the east. We did score a goal. It's not like Miazga was their best player.

Kreis had a good team but it was far from the best. No big names. Very modest spending compared to the other big franchises. And he still made them one of the most competitive names in MLS at the time.
