Jozy to get the captains armband. Bradley is on a yellow card suspension. Zardes could be out for the season.

I would actually like to see a diamond with this:

Wood-Altidore
Nagbe
Pulisic-FabJo
Cameron
Acosta-Gonzalez-Birnbaum-Yedlin

What we will get:

Wood-Altidore-Zusi
Nagbe-Beckerman-Bedoya
Johnson-Gonzalez-Cameron-Yedlin
I'd like to see FabJo more advanced, but I really don't like any of our LB options (and especially think Acosta has been crap there when he's played there for us).

I think given our current roster setup, give me FabJo at LB playing somewhat similar to how Mataritta plays for us.

I like the diamond, I'm all for Nagbe and Pulisic getting more time. I know Pulisic is young but assuming he's going to be a big part of the next WC we might as well start getting him the experience he needs now. Nagbe is just good and I have been disappointed with how little JK has historically played him.

Jurgen said in interviews today that if we win against St. Vincent and secure our spot in the hex that he will play young guys against Trindad. I hope that with JJ, Bradley, and Zardes out we see some Nagbe.

I think with Altidore and Wood as our two best strikers, and with no Zardes, we end up in a 4-4-2.

. . . . . . . . . Altidore - Wood
Pulisic - Bradley - Beckerman - Bedoya
FabJo - Gonzalez - Cameron - Yedlin

I would like to see this formation as well given our absences. But isn't Bradley out due to suspension? Maybe we slot in Nagbe?

Pulisic scores USA's 4th, wearing the number 10. Yes! It was assisted by Kljestan. Fuck.

I would't put too much into it though, we're playing St. Vincent...

Pulisic assists Kljestan for US's 5th...

And for the sixth ...

Really makes Klinsy look like an asshole.

I don't historically care for koochstache, but he's been killing it as an attacking mid for 2 years now. He looks our best creative option.
Disagree. Until he does it against a country that doesn't play soccer in the national cricket stadium with the result already sealed, it's just mop duty/kicking a team that's already folded. Littlefinger historically shows his true colors when he lines up against national teams that are physical, organized, and swarm the ball - pretty much all the teams we'll see next round.

Well, exactly who looks to be our better attacking mid option? He's leading MLS in assists.

His assists are more a product of RB's system. And he used to always do well in Belgium and then get called up and flop on the NT stage. Let him play a game in the finals and that'll be a better indication if he's grown as a player.

I'd personally rather see Feilhaber at the position, but probably based on his reputation of being a prick, he won't sniff the team while JK is there.

I don't think it's a reputation thing. Benny is an asshole.

I actually don't remember Sk ever getting to play so far forward. He was always wide or in a more defensive role. That was a complaint back then.

Wait, so teams have a system where an attacking mid feeds the ball to forwards to finish? And he doesn't get credit for doing that successfully?
