I got that too. I replied "free swag".
PS I think all those options for sayings are pretty bad. Maybe "Sexy in the City" because that's how I feel when I wear mine.
I guess I'm the weird NYer that actually likes the "This City Never Sleeps" option.

Oh. I didn't even notice the original post said Cityzens not City Voice. I just thought all polls went through the latter, but I guess they want to limit the neckline poll to STHs.I got this email ("commemorate future fan milestones, such as attendance of STH sales, etc.") too but from City Voice, not Cityzens. If you log-in to your Cityzens account you will find the poll for the neckline slogan.
I wish there was an option to add our own...I would like the NY state motto (Excelsior) but thats just me, I wonder if they're gonna keep the generic "new york city fc" in the neck of the next home shirt....I hope they get a little more creative with the home shirt
In some ways I wish that'd catch on. I'm sick of hearing every announcer saying our five-syllable initials or even worse the six-syllable "New York City FC" (or the seven syllables of New York City Football Club). Gimme the two syllables of City. Besides, does it feel to anyone else that they're not allowed to call us New York? It's like they've been told they have to say New York City every time.@Falastur We don't even call the team "city" and the team really wants us to.
I have noticed that MLS announcers on TV constsiently call the Red Bulls "New York" and never call us just "New York." I've heard this from national announcers and local announcers including DC. It is so consistent that I would guess with high confidence that they are getting directed to do this, presumably by the league. In some ways I wish that'd catch on. We shorthand NYC all the time here, but city is the name here.In some ways I wish that'd catch on. My hope is that they keep the primary blue and secondary black kits (I don't want to have wasted about $300 on kits in one year), and add a third awesome kit (that has a good amount of orange in it).
Next up, a fan vote on the color of the 2016 home jersey:
a. light blue
b. sky blue
c. baby blue
d. celestial blue
And if today's stadium rumor/news pans out they will undoubtedly add - Columbia BlueIf it was Nike then they would have included:
Carolina Blue
University Blue
So sick of this BS line of thinking. Black is the most generic color for a sports jersey in the world. How many freaking teams world over in football or her in the states in any sport use black for an away or "Third" jersey to look bad ass or cool. Sky blue is our color and it looks a thousand times nicer.
I believe it's been reported that Adidas and MLS are not doing third kits, the money isn't there
I call NYCFC, City.@Falastur We don't even call the team "city" and the team really wants us to.
