The messenger bag is surprisingly nice. I might try using it for school in the fall. The back pocket thing is felt lined on one side so it's like a tablet pocket. I can't for the life of me figure out the point of the Velcro strap. It might be good for a long haul "personal bag" if it meets the airlines size limitations. Zipper pocket for passport/boarding pass, tablet pocket, laptop/books/kindle/newspaper in the main pocket, water bottle mesh side pocket, and last but not least pencil pockets for the customs forms.

I hadn't either until the box arrived this afternoon. Well, I got the same email as everybody else, but no tracking or anything.

Me too. Last home game I bumped into Mr. Dan Steeves and mentioned the gift and he told me "I got you covered"
so far nothing , but have read on the forum that before you get the gift , we must get an email asking us what we choose.
I should clarify that although I never received a notice of shipping I did receive my gifts.

Two kids went hence from the house this morn in new NYCFC backpacks. They like them a lot. That there are so many compartments and zipper tags seems to be a plus in the 10-13 demo.
My son grabbed the messenger bag without hesitation. The backpack is just tossed on the floor in the living room.
I'm not surprised. These are "one of a kind" bags made only for STH. Whether the quality is good or bad, there is value in obtaining these exclusive items.

I respectfully disagree. I wish I got four backpacks and zero messenger bags instead of two of each. The extra backpacks would make great birthday gifts for my kids' friends.
The adult bags aren't padded enough to trust to hold a laptop or tablet, and aren't nice enough to "feel" professional. Maybe if I got a job as a bike messenger I would use it ...
Are the backpacks I see on EBay getting any attention? Maybe I'll sell mine too.
