You in particular are not coming off quite as condescending. And I am well aware I don't know Serie A quite as well, and I have no issue admitting that. All I'm saying is that there is an argument to be made for a guy who has 54 goals and 37 assists in 83 games, even if its in a league that is a step lower. I understand that some of those other guys may be young or talented, but IMO, I would rather take a guy who is fit in the middle of his season over one that has logged 18' into the beginning of one.

I think the biggest issue is what Ventura called the league and how Giovinco isn't even looked at because of it. With the form he's in, he should always be in the conversation. Not saying he should be selected, but come injuries, who knows. Never say never.
