Tony Taylor [Forward]

Really looking forward to having him back next year

Does anyone know why Tony is never in our matchday squad? He went from a regular starter to completely disappearing.
Maybe hes just got an injury and the club just has not given any info as per usual.

I think it's just falling out of favor. The minute PV doesn't think a forward does enough on defense they're on the bench.

Congrats to Taylor for getting called up the Panamanian national team for upcoming friendlies. I had no idea he was even eligible. He played for US U-teams I believe, but clearly is not going to make his way to our senior squad. Good to see him get a shot, he has been through hell with Traffic and injuries. If he could get a shot and play some big matches for Panama in WCQ's (i'm sure any player would cherish an opportunity to play in front of 100k at Azteca) and Gold Cup i'm sure it would be a great reward for his hard work.
Good luck to him.
This match will be during our week off, so he will be playing in Chicago against Mexico while most of the rest of the team is in Mexico.

Dumb question, but does that mean we need another INT spot?
Nope. He still is a US Citizen and as long as you have a citizenship or a green card you don't count as an international. That's why Poku didn't count as one.

TT is a dual citizen, meaning he could play for the US or Panama, and previously played for the USMNT youth teams.

Called up by Panama for their qualifiers against Honduras on November 11 and Mexico November 15.

interesting...he has yet to debut for their national team...he got called up last time but was not even picked in the 18.
