Hey guys, the T in Etihad on my Pirlo Authentic is starting to peel. Can I just try to iron it back into place, or bring it to the match tonight so they can use their press? Thanks in advance for the tips!

This may be blasphemy to some, but I actually love it when the ads start to come off. I'm not a big fan of them in the first place so having a jersey with out is a big win in my book.

If it wasn't authentic, I'd agree. It's why I like wearing the practice jerseys with no logo in the front. They also fit my fat ass better! But for this, if it's authentic, I want to do my best to keep it in its original form.

Not sure how easy it is to remove the rest of the letter without damaging the jersey. I think northernburbs may be able to answer your question since I think he does printing. Until the entire letter comes off, you may just want to carefully remove that end piece by placing a thin piece of cardboard between the two surfaces and use an xacto knife/straight-edge to snip off the end.... that way it won't keep pulling off (like a hang nail).

Even if you do take the letters off they will leave some glue/residue/discoloration behind, essentially leaving a ghost of the letter/patch. I think you could try ironing it back on first and see how that goes before trying to remove it or do anything too drastic.

NYCFCfan I guess you enjoy Roma's kits sans sponsor, or Barça as well? Random, but do you like how some teams have added sponsors onto their sleeves, or do you just hate sponsors no matter where they are on the kit?

I'm a big fan of Roma's new kit. I actually bought the Barcelona jersey this year before they finalized the sponsorship deal so I have one without it on the chest. I don't mind it on the sleeves (or the back) as much. It's just so prominent on the chest in comparison to the crest that I feel it doesn't give the team the proper credit it deserves.

I love national team jerseys because they're sponsor free and look at lot less busy.

Roma has one of the absolute nicest kits around - very classy shirt. Almost got one last year in Rome as a perfect souvenir, simply because it is a classy shirt, but I have no allegiance to them so don't want to rep them by default. Still though, the color combination is perfect.

I don't believe the winner of the neckband contest was ever announced on this thread. But D won. It will be on the outside neck of the 2017 Home Jersey. So besides some City blue, we'll have some dark blue and orange and white in our jersey.

Same, I was wandering Rome and came across a team store and was pretty close to buying one myself. It's like a super dope polo.

So I took the suggestions and tried ironing it back in place. Also, noticed the H was coming apart in the middle too. Ironing didn't help, as the glue must have been gone. So I applied a little crazy glue (did I just ruin it?) and ironed on after that. Now it's good again, just hope the jersey doesn't harden up and fall apart.

I went ahead and got a 15/16 Roma kit (shirt only) because it was great. I figure, hey, I've been to Rome and don't support a *different* Serie A team, so it's all good.

try to pour some acetone (nail polish remover) on the inside , give it a minute and see if it peels away. My lerreing peeled and i was pissed

Ah wtf: http://www.mancity.com/news/club-news/2016/09/20/third-kit-launch/1474319671860

What a perfect jersey for US, not them. And I don't even like gradients. I just hate our two away jerseys so far.

I'm prepared to be underwhelmed by our new home jerseys this winter. Probably just solid light blue again with the stripes down the side instead of the sleeve. But hopefully our 2018 away kits don't look like they're designed by a kindergartner again.

I don't think it's perfect for us. The top part with the orange, surely, but the lower you go and the more purple it gets, the less it feels NYCFC and the more it feels I don't even know what.
