I see what you're saying, but kind of disagree here to an extent.
For the first leg, I thought our last 30 minutes were much better than the first 60, though we did let up 2 in that last 30.
I'm not gonna bring up the second leg though

I hear you. I just think the "if Mikey starts a playoff game the apocalypse is nigh" line of thinking is a bit short sighted. He plays a role. It's a role PV values. It's a role that is valuable in certain circumstances and with the right other players on the pitch.
If we have good enough players elsewhere that starting Lopez doesn't matter, we shouldn't be only left with a Lopez to play with them.

There is currently a definite gap there and I know the SPL is not great overall but there are still definitely players at Rangers that would help our team and I think it's silly to argue otherwise.

First two thirds of this clip were all right footed goals, and then near the end there were a few rockets with his left.
Looks like someone to compete with or oust McNamara from the LW position.
EDIT: Plus, he's a goal scorer not a playmaker (12 goals, 1 assist last year).
I'm 99% sure that this is a done deal.
