They want to get everybody Platinum Status as Frequent Fliers.

I thoroughly expect a call with an offer to travel with the team for the sum of $20-30K per person for preseason. NYC to Manchester, Manchester to Beijing, Beijing to LAX then Phoenix (or direct depending how they're flying), Phoenix to NYC.

That didn't take long for him to get in trouble and sent home.

2) He's young
3) He fills a role that no one else on the roster can
4) He's a quality guy in the community

If he is a starter for us between March and June, my tune will change. As a role player, he's an incredible piece for this team on that contract. The world needs ditch diggers too.

The world does need ditch diggers, but not ones that dump the dirt on the road in front of oncoming traffic.

Mikey is a card waiting to happen, which I could handle if they were only when breaking up sure-scoring chances, but he likes to fly into tackles like Bruce Lee when a tackle isn't warranted.

He also, in my opinion, isn't tall enough nor strong enough to play in front of the CBs. That position should be able to mark on set pieces and be effective at it. He cannot.

I'll give him that he break out well, but he is horrible passing on the break and can't shoot to save his life. So many times I'd see a guy streaking past the defense on a break, get excited, until I realized it was Lopez receiving the ball and then sigh as he lost it.

I'm all for cap-friendly players, but I prefer them not to scare me when they're on the field.

Lopez is a valuable guy for us given his salary. I don't like him playing in front of Mix or the thought of having to rely on him as a starter. But, he's a good backup at a great price.

Mikey has gotten in trouble in the past with his social media posts and team rules, and I'm poking fun at that, because why else does a player leave a day after arriving unless they either got in trouble, are being traded, or perhaps are injured? It's slightly different from calling somebody a "shithead" based on a contractual stalemate.

Mix Diskerud is a shithead to deal with. It has nothing to do with a contractual stalemate. Mix could see the field if he really wanted to. He's ruining his own career.
