2017 Schedule Thread

LOL!!!! I kept mine in the summer too
so why is a late Sunday game an issue for kids in summer?

If they are as young as mine, they can't go. A 7pm kickoff = home after bedtime.

"Really? NYCFC vs. __________ on a weeknight game in _________? Good luck getting 15k in the stadium that day"

"Too many games scheduled in _________"

Just warming up for when it is released

It's like a game of Mad Libs.

Looks like the team is an a competition to see how many frequent flyer miles they can put up in a week. Dallas - Salt Lake City - Orlando? Come on.

Very manageable opening and very manageable close to the schedule. The middle seems quite tough

Interesting notes:

- We will play Red Bulls, Orlando, and New England three times again for the third time.
- We will end the season at home again versus Columbus again.
- 14 nationally televised games between FS1, ESPN, ESPN2, FOX, and Unimas
- 4 weekday home games.
- I'm counting 4 weeks with three games during 7/8 days

And I'm not sure which is wrong on May 7th against Atlanta: marked as a home game, but stadium listed as Atlanta's. Assuming the latter as that would be a six-game road trip.

There's the early start times (11:45am ) to complain about I suppose. (Call me nuts, but summer games are always better in the evening when you're not sitting under the broiler.) But we're at the Yankees mercy, so w/e. Will be enjoyable.

Home/Away imbalance better than last year. We do have 3 of first 4 at home, but after that it stays pretty even. Breaking season into quartiles

First 9 = 5H 4A
Second 8 = 3H 5A = 8 Home 9 Away at half way point
Third 8 = 5H 3A = 13 Home 12 Away total
Final 9 = 4H 5A = 17/17 obviously

Last year we played 10 home games by the half way mark.
