I think that's likely. Everybody now plays 10 against the other conference, leaving 24 in-conference. That is split rather symmetrically: Against 3 teams you play 2H 1A (9 total), against 3 teams you play 1H 2A (9 total), and against 3 teams you play 1H 1 A (6 total).I would expect the same number of games with fewer triples against teams in our conference.
That's good news. Otherwise you'll have to update your pricing spreadsheet to not only factor in the processing fee but the additional home games if it were to change...I think that's likely. I think the new format will be that against 6 teams you play 1H 1A (12 total), against 2 teams you play 2H 1A (6 total) and against 2 you play 1H 2A (6 total). That's still 24 in-conference games and maintains a bit of symmetry.
It's not really news - it's me speculating with a bit of math. Nothing has been confirmed, although I think my speculation could likely be correct. That's good news. If we keep 24 in conference games and a 34 game schedule, that means we skip one of the other conference teams each year. I don't think that's gonna happen. My guess is that symmetry isn't that important. We'll have 11 non-conference games and 23 to play in conference - 3 triples and 7 home and homes. That's still 24 in-conference games and maintains a bit of symmetry.

Or adding one more game for 35 total wouldn't be too difficult. kinda like how we're starting our first 10 years in Yankee Stadium? LOL!A reason for some of these benefits is because Atlanta United will be starting their season playing at home games at Georgia Tech's stadium rather than Mercedes Benz Stadium. So they need to keep the fans happy.
