In what sense does the preseason start on January 26? Are they training those 3 days? In dead of winter Orangeburg?

Maybe it's just 3 days of Etihad/Abu Dhabi approved promotional media training in preparation for the trip.
i always assume the first day or two is physicals and stuff like that, to see how much out of shape you are.
When was the last time we didn't include a scrimmage against Jacksonville University? Was it 2015?

It was probably laundry day and it was the only hat he had around.
The thing I'm most "excite" about this season is finding out which of the #DomèOut or the #DaddyDomè crowd is right.

I do not like balashi beer or even the hat, though it’s nice. I just “organized” a few weeks ago and it’s the only hat I can find.

Remind me...Is this table just account for every three days? Because Parks was signed on the 19th. Today is the 19th.
Each row represents three days. I could make that clearer with column A showing a range I guess. I was less concerned with precision (e.g., Parks showing on 1/18 when he was signed on 1/19) and more wanted to have a visual representation that showed the general flow of the offseason. You'll also note places where players are in the wrong rows. E.g., Herrera was signed on 2/14, a day ahead of Moralez. I wanted Moralez shown in the proper row as he was a DP. So I put Herrera in the previous row, even though that shows him slightly earlier than he was signed. Wallace was also signed on 2/15. So I put him in the next row. This is all fairly inaccurate when purely considering dates. But I view this as more of an excitement meter. Three quick signings like that are easily good for 9 days of energy on these boards. So they show in 3 different rows.
I think showing the range makes this clearer. Otherwise, I'd think NYCFC would have some archaic policy of only announcing a signing every three days. Also, any meaning behind the double black lines between Lopez and Brillant and in the other years as well.
Thank you again for doing all this work. It's great stuff like these spreadsheets that makes following the club year over year so much more interesting. If you can get this as a public Google spreadsheet that would be ever better (obviously lock it so people can't edit wildly).
Date ranges added. It seems pretty obvious when you say it. I guess I was just being a bit lazy. The double yellow were a suggestion, I believe from adam a while back to designate the start of training camp each year.
