This could mean that our true striker is still coming this summer, and in the meantime we get a talented Brazilian who can play striker or wing. How do our coffers look for that?
Better once Medina is sold for the GAM. I wonder if MCFC would pay a transfer fee to take Dome mid-contract?This could mean that our true striker is still coming this summer, and in the meantime we get a talented Brazilian who can play striker or wing. How do our coffers look for that?
I mean, if they both start wide, wtf good does that do anyone? More people for Maxi to run into? They go 4-2-3-1 and he's more like a wide left attacking mid and they also go 4-3-3 where he's more of a left winger but he tends to play like a left forward/ss at times making runs into the box. Maybe we need someone making that run, because there's no one up there besides Mitrita dribbling through 3 players. It's looking an awful like how Villa would play, but he ain't Villa. I'm trying to figure out where the help comes from. I don't see it. Unless Ring plays higher. That's all I got.
My complaint isn't with the end result, I think the FO deserves credit for bringing in a number of high quality players. We have some misses but all teams do. My criticism is the timelines with which they do things for both player acquisition and even simple information dissemination seem to take considerably longer than other team in the MLS. At times it puts us at a competitive disadvantage like when we added Maxi late into camp or this year when we started the season without a single CF on the roster. If most other teams in the MLS can have their players signed and their rosters set earlier in the offseason preferably before the start of camp I think it's reasonable to question why our FO consistently fails to do the same. That's before we even touch the information piece where we seem to be last to release every piece of information that other mls teams seem to have no problem getting out well before us.

After 3 games, our most common attacking move is tripping one’s teammate.
Pato anyone?
29 y/o announced he’s done in China... could be TAM contract
For some reason I mostly find it really funny.Even Christopher Jee is starting to worry....
D is for drugs. And there’s never enough if you’re an NYCFC fan.we know he gets back on D.
How is this compatible with your belief that one can't selectively numb emotion? I guess if your signature specifically refers to NYCFC fans.D is for drugs. And there’s never enough if you’re an NYCFC fan.

Lol, it implies that drugs have some effect on selectively numbing emotion (granted my interpretation on the nature of the effect). How is it not compatible?
Not really sure how that's substantively different to a 4-3-3 or even the 4-2-4-ish thing we've been playing then. Why isn’t Mitri lined up as a LS in a 4-4-2 formation? The dude isn’t asked to track back defensively anyway and he wants to drift left and cut in right.

But yeah, I could see that working. Mitri picks up the ball deep on the LW and as he drives inwards, the CF drifts left and becomes either an option or a distraction to give Mitri more space to get off a shot.
So isi posted pictures of him at camp on Instagram. If he really did hurt his ankle for Sunday, could it have healed that quickly? Or could it be some thing deeper and they just called it a "hurt ankle"?
Possibly getting moved to make cap room?i figured he is not injured and not placed in 18 because dome thinks hes not "at the level" he wants him in.
