I expect it will cost about 3.5 times what I think it is worth.
Yeah, I'm sure this will be a hard pass from me. (Because I'm broke.)

Your general point is right, but there are not actually more high end categories than previously. Previously there was Pitchside A and Pitchside B, now there is just Etihad First Class Club. Previously there was a single Legends Suite, now there is Legends Suite A and Legends Suite B. Those 2 changes cancel out. The reason it appears to be an increase is they moved the personal Suite category from the bottom of the chart in 2018 to up with the Branded/Named Suites. But it's not a new option. This is more than just a modest price decrease. It is a major rethinking of pricing top to bottom.
- There are more price points. There are now 6 suite/high end price points instead of 5, and 11 general price points instead of 8.

It is also possible, though, that the single category Etihad Club might now have more than the 2 price points it used to have even though it's a single entry, as the prices are indicated as a range.
Yes, there are two price points within the Etihad First Class Club - Pitchside. You can see a range of prices. One is the B. The other is the A.
You just confused me. You say there are 2 price points. Then you say there is a range of prices. Then you say there is A and B, which is 2 again. Two is not a range. Two is 2. So is it 2 or a range? Plus they just got rid of A and B, at least on the price chart and map you posted.
Come join me in Champions where you can get actual stadium good with no wait at all right behind your seats. Legends food is a hike and pitchside food is a marathonRegarding Legends, one of the things you are supposedly paying for is convenience - i.e. not having to stand in line for 20 minutes and miss kickoff in order to have a cold hamburger.
Not that I am going to lay out the cash for it, but that to me is the real benefit.
This is the logic that got me sent to the drunk tank one night. No more "try to make it" up seats for me. Cheapo Yankees don't offer alcohol in packages anyhow, but I imagine its a good miss when your trying to make it up in seafood too.As I overheard Keith Olbermann at a Yankees game said to his guest that night, "The goal is to eat back the price of the ticket in food!"

There will be a push to include alcohol (at least beer and wine) in the best seats at the new stadium as it’s basically a standard across bigger markets MLS. Red Bulls, Toronto, LAFC, DC, they all have it. It’s something I know the Pitchside fans want if it’s priced correctly.
Legends of the FallMaybe that’s part of buying out Yankees and dumping Legends.
When I went for the round table with Petricoff, he emphasized that they do not have any deal or obligation to use Legends and they have heard a lot of complaints and agree regarding the concessions etc.Maybe that’s part of buying out Yankees and dumping Legends.

That's good to know, and could free the club to do what it wants when it gets its own stadium. When I went for the round table with Petricoff, he emphasized that they do not have any deal or obligation to use Legends and they have heard a lot of complaints and agree regarding the concessions etc.
I was speaking only to the new stadium. That's good to know, and could free the club to do what it wants when it gets its own stadium.
But I doubt it would be easy to bypass Legends while at Yankee Stadium, because the new vendor for NYCFC would probably have to pay Legends to use their equipment. They would also have to either separately hire the Legends staff to work the additional 17 games, which creates all sorts of HR, tax, and regulatory duplication costs, or hire completely new and different staff to work just 17 dates a year.
Good article.
Good article.
I’m very much 50/50 at this point.
If I stop now, I can probably just buy my way into status in the new stadium with what I save on tickets I can’t/don’t/don’t want to use.
Realistically, it will take another 4 years to have a stadium (1 more to find/purchase; 1 to complete planning, permitting etc; 2 years to build). That’s at minimum. You can save a lot of money in that time.
Think about it- realistically, the team could exist for close to a decade before we have a stadium. #patricofmustgo. #CFGFail
