LOOKING VERY LIKELY THAT SEATTLE, NYCFC, AND NE MOVE ON
He really is the new adamYou really need to stop with this Mush
Because of the Cavalry forfeits CONCACAF changed the seeding rules so that these standings arent used for any future rounds involving the Revs. Any future rounds involving the Revs the standings for home field advantage 2nd leg will be based on results from the quarterfinals forward and the first round results are disregarded. The rule change wont apply to NYCFC unless we meet the Revs in the final. As of right now:
Points (Wins/Draws) and Current goal differences:
NYCFC: 9 points, +8 GD
Cruz Azul: 9 points, +4 GD
Seattle: 7 points, +8 GD
León: 6 points, 0
Pumas: 4 points, 0 GD
Comunicaciones: 4 points, -2 GD
New England: 3 points, +3 GD
Montréal: 3 points, +1 GD
This will come in to play in the semifinals and finals. The winners with the most points, followed by the best goal difference will get the second leg at home.
I thought I had read somewhere that the Revs and their opponents will get averaged out to determine who gets the home match in a second leg.
We're sitting pretty and just need to grind out a win in Guatemala.
when did I ever jinx us like that?
Our game is going to suck the confidence right out of both teams --- probably a good thing for them. Nobody is going to coast into the semis of this tournamentHot Take: Seattle and New England won’t make it to the Semifinals
How is that comparable? One is a Liga MX team, the other isn't.So if Montreal loses this game at home in CCL(especially if they lose by multiple goals) is it “embarrassing” like all the pundits were saying about NYCFC losing on the road in Guatemala?
I just turned on the match… damn, it’s on.lol... revs choking? is there gonna be talk of this at all?
Very choke-worthy
CCL, where MLS teams go to die…
