I’m very confident we’re signing an attacking DP this summer. I’m moderately confident he will be a CAM. I’m slightly confident he will be older than 22.
I’ve no idea if he’s coming from Europe, LatAm or elsewhere, or what we’ll spend or how good he will be.
Admitting this was a poor take.Matt Freese makes the Gold Cup roster. Going to be disappointed all tournament long when he's just wasting away on the bench in favor of Matt Turner.
I'm honestly surprised that multiple people seem to think we won't replace Santi this window. As much as Lee has delayed replacing necessary players and let roster spots languish, it has always involved either 1) someone on loan, or 2) the winter window. We have an open DP spot in the summer window and the player being replaced is not on loan. Lee will get somebody.bookmarking this for later. mgarbowsktradamus

That's where I am too. If he finds a player (big if) will it be the right player? The recent odds say it wont.I don't know what lee will do. I just know I have no confidence in him. I'm here to be pleasantly surprised. Make me eat my words Lee!
I had the same take (it's posted here somewhere) so you're not alone!Admitting this was a poor take.
Honestly, this stat kinda freaks me out. I really believe there is a dramatic difference when we have Alonso on the field and off. I'm sure someone tracks the stat of offense with or without a player on the field. I am confident that Alonso's number for that has to be pretty positive. Including I'd guess without looking back at it that he has probably drawn at least 3 of the 5 PKs for the team. So taking away his PK goals isn't entirely fair. But it is still pretty incredible that run of play numbers have him sitting right in between Fernandez and Bakrar with Wolf all alone up top.I wondered if you would make this adjustment when I posted.
