I'm honestly surprised that multiple people seem to think we won't replace Santi this window. As much as Lee has delayed replacing necessary players and let roster spots languish, it has always involved either 1) someone on loan, or 2) the winter window. We have an open DP spot in the summer window and the player being replaced is not on loan. Lee will get somebody.

I don't know what lee will do. I just know I have no confidence in him. I'm here to be pleasantly surprised. Make me eat my words Lee!

I wondered if you would make this adjustment when I posted.
Honestly, this stat kinda freaks me out. I really believe there is a dramatic difference when we have Alonso on the field and off. I'm sure someone tracks the stat of offense with or without a player on the field. I am confident that Alonso's number for that has to be pretty positive. Including I'd guess without looking back at it that he has probably drawn at least 3 of the 5 PKs for the team. So taking away his PK goals isn't entirely fair. But it is still pretty incredible that run of play numbers have him sitting right in between Fernandez and Bakrar with Wolf all alone up top.

The biggest take way for me is that none of them look very good in npkG+A per 90. We are splitting hairs across an attacking front that just doesn't score enough goals.

Don't think there is much to worry about for Alonso. Real vs. expected numbers tend to regress to the mean and he's 5th in the league in npxG. The penalty draws are also a real positive because these havent been flimsy penalties, they have been direct runs beating the backline at pace.
