Do NYCFC press conferences tend to get a lot of coverage/reporting? I hope with the multitude of occurrences and the lack of team news there will be a lot of people there to ask questions...NYCFC's first press conference since the season ended will be next Tuesday with both Pascal Jansen AND David Lee.
Fun fun that they're combining the two of them as it almost certainly will limit the number of questions that can be asked to each of them if there were separate press conferences held. There's also several months since the last one and we've had a season end, coach fired, superdraft protection selections made, superdraft picks made, first homegrown ever loaned out, Jovan saga, coach hired, and preseason started, so there's a ton to cover and no way it all will be.
Most (probably 90% or so) of the press conferences only include the local fan-driven media. Bigger games will often also include some folks from MLS dot com, maybe someone from the Athletic.Do NYCFC press conferences tend to get a lot of coverage/reporting? Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I know they tend to be pretty light on the number of people, like you/crooks/some of the other podcast guys, maybe a local media reporter. Most (probably 90% or so) of the press conferences only include the local fan-driven media. Since this includes the first press conference from a new coach hired, I would expect some more national media types as well.
The problem I'm having, is there are currently too many important questions to ask, and almost certainly not enough time will be given to ask them all.Yeah, that's what I was getting at. I hope they ask the important questions.

I’d really love to know how a half season loan of Jovan is going to make him more energized to play for us. Is the plan to increase his value for a more significant price during the summer?
Last year we ended 6th, and have lost more pieces while adding nothing really. I question putting Chicago ahead of us, if only because they are in "prove it" status after underperforming for so long. Everything else is fair.Matt Doyle now does Armchair Analyst as a newsletter. His preliminary prediction for us is 9th in the eastern conference, which I think is fair. Somewhere between 6-10 sounds right.
Both Ohio teams, Miami, Atalanta and Charlotte are better than us on paper. Both Canadian teams, Nashville, Philly and DC are probably worse.
I don’t know if this is right thread, but was there any explanation for new Twitter logo?
Yeah and they still have "Black Lives Matter" right on the homepage. Don't think they've taken it down since 2020.my guess is black history month
It's the only holiday the team acknowledges on social media anymore it seems. They still have "Black Lives Matter" right on the homepage.
Acknowledge a Jewish holiday, NYCFC! They can be cultural too!not really a holiday but i get what you mean. off the top of my head, they also do pride month and hispanic heritage month.
