Well deserved but rough for us particularly if Perea is still out.
Most of these are during a short window.
Happy for him. Almost every game he seems like one of our standout players to me. I think he's going to be one of our best homegrowns in a couple years and off to Europe for a hefty fee.
you're right. window is from june 2-10, which lucky for us, is in between games.
We just took points off one of the hottest teams in the east while starting Ojeda and using Fernadez as our backup CAM, both of whom are nowhere near being MLS-level players.
Sign a high-quality DP winger and DP CAM at the start of the summer window, and this team could be a title contender. Those two moves plus a healthy Parks come playoff time, and we could beat anyone.

Agreed. It doesn't really seem like it, but we're not far off from being a true title contender. It's why this screwed up roster-build is so frustrating.
Maybe with the stadium coming, they realize this and go for it. The question then would be, can they get it right? The club has an excellent track record with super draft picks, academy players, MLS transfers, free signings, and generally any players who cost under $ 1 million. Oddly, the signings they have historically done the worst on are DPs and players that cost over $1M in fees.
My 9-YO wants me to offer everyone the chance to participate in a poll on the best players on this year's team. It's through Google Docs and simply asks you to vote for your Top 10 players in order.
The key is to make sure you don't pick a player twice, as that will mess up the voting. You will have until June 20 to put in your answers.

The first three were really easy. After that there was no one I really wanted to put at 4.
If we are limiting it to this year alone, is it crazy to claim there might be a debate between Wolf and Martinez as to who has been our best attacker? Wolf has similar numbers to Martinez and also often plays an important role coming back on defense.

looks like gray didn't get called up? missing O'Neil, Freese, Martinez, Shore, and Ilenic from the first team (also carrizo). Shore shouldn't be missing any games, Oneil might miss one due to travel, and the rest will prob miss 2 or more.

Yes, usually if we are at 6 points, the backup keeper gets the last group game, but who knows what the BBQ King will do.

that's if poch thinks freese is the backup over brady.
I remain completely baffled why turner keeps getting called up despite getting almost no game time. I would be more agreeable if poch picked steffen as the #1 for this tournament but Turner? come on. Poch needs to look to the future too. I think the #1 needs to go to either freese or shulte.
