All Things Coffee ...

Good grief! Three pages of posts about a drink?!

I think I'll stick to tea bags and hot water. It seems way more straightforward than all this coffee memorabilia stuff.
We must all immediately set our profiles to ignore this person. Greater lunacy I've never seen.

No. Because a special kind of forum douche bag goes into a thread that doesn't interest him/her just to object.
I just discovered this thread and was amazed that there was 3 pages about a drink. I merely made that statement.

I don't really feel as though it warrants vulgar name calling or anything of that sort. I fail to see how that is related to anything that I said.

Regardless, you didn't have to respond to anything that I said in the first place. It's my opinion and I think I can express it where and when I please.

Yeah - the Sowden - can be a touch gritty - I usually don't pour the last couple drops from the kettle (softbrew) into the cup. I tend to make a hefty mug and after a few sips pour the rest in so I don't notice the cooling as much, or use it for two people.

I am pretty happy with the metal filter for it's ease, simplicity etc. but areopress and chemex makes a better filtered cup.

MMMM Coffee!!!
