NYCFC Cup and only because of all those listed (save for the Bucs) that one is least likely to happen. One wish, NYCFC MLS Cup, Man City Treble (including Champs League), Lightning Stanley Cup or Bucs SB?
Don’t think there would be much for me in the city. I’d likely have to work even more since I’m just an uneducated peon.
Next is unknown at the moment. Have 2 flights scheduled to find work.
Appreciate the pep talk Matt! I’ll find out soon enough what my prospects will be when I fly down in 2 weeks to do some searching.Dang, Dan, that's a big decision. It seemed like the job you got was huge, both in terms of workload but also significance to your career, and it seemed like something you were really good at, so that's a big thing to step back from. That said, I trust that you'll make the decision which is best for you and so I wish you the best in finding a new job and for working things out otherwise.
Eh. I'm not sure if the way jobs work is the same over there as here, but I bet it is. From an educated peon to an uneducated peon of about the same age, let me assure you that at this stage in our careers your skillset and experience is far more important than the pieces of paper you have to back up your credentials. I have a Maths degree and it counts for absolutely diddly squat for me right now because when I go into interviews I can't string off a list of projects I've worked on, innovations I've introduced or processes I've developed and frankly those are the only things of any value that an interviewer sees in me. I've specialised in my career so far in taking very limited jobs and doing them as well as they can be done; you on the other hand have had a job where you've been able to imprint yourself far more. I'm 100% certain that you will set yourself up with something even more awesome, and make me even more jealous of you, in no time at all.
Anyway, silly gushy nonsense pep-talk over. This is supposed to be an AMA so I guess I'll ask...uh...pineapple - acceptable pizza topping or not?

Unacceptable topping.
Do you enjoy the North or South more?
Loved the weather in the North. Really enjoy living in Richmond.
I don't know enough about your age or expertise but
What do you do?
I figure everything north of the Carolinas is the North :/I am going to inform my Richmond-born mother that she is from the “north.”
If I lose my inheritance, I am sure the forum will give me enough Dan bucks to make up for it.
I figure everything north of the Carolinas is the North :/
How about I’ve never seen Star Trek?Man, I live 3,000 miles away and I know VA is a Southern state...
Some more questions:
Kirk or Picard? ("I don't like Star Trek" is the wrong answer, FYI, as was your assertion that pineapple does not go on pizzas)
Best film you saw in 2017? (I will accept one you saw on TV/internet which wasn't actually made in 2017)
Ideal holiday destination?
I figure everything north of the Carolinas is the North :/

Hey I’m not the one that initially called it the north. But it is cold here for more than 1 month of the year and that’s got to mean something. All those confederate monuments didn’t change your perspective?
Greatest grocery store in the world.
