Hey guys and girls. If anyone is heading to Charleston for the preseason tournament a good mate of mine runs a great bar in downtown charleston called Prohibition. It's located at 387 King street. It is a good distance form Blackbaud stadium but for fellow NYCFC fans staying in the area it could be a good place to meet up after the games or the next morning for that hangover cure.
Just spoke to Suzanne at The Three Lions pub at Blackbaud stadium. They will be open on the friday before the tournament starts from 5pm to the public. But during the tournament itself it is strictly members only. I enquired about membership fees and its 575 bucks lol so I guess we have to make do with alternate prematch arrangements. She did suggest Daniel Island Grill which is less than a mile to the stadium. Its a sports bar. Could be a place to meet up before heading to the tournament.
Hey NYCFC Fans, Im a Third Rail member and season ticket holder but new to the NYCFCForum. Myself and 3 friends (2 of whom are Third Rail members) have already purchased flights to Charleston for the CCC. We plan on seeing the NYvOC match on Saturday. We may have a place to crash for the weekend but could be interested in hotels if the price is right. Anyone here planning a trip down? If so, do you have any hotel recs. and/or NYCFC Supporter meetup suggestions pre match?

Hey mike. Hotels around Charelston are a bit pricey. But check out air bnb. I posted earlier about Daniel Island Grill which is a 10 minute walk to the stadium.
Thanks Michael M. and Einwindir. My sister actually went to College of Charleston so Im not suprised to hear the hotels are a bit pricey. I was hoping since its off season someone may have found a deal for cheep. I think Ill be crashing with friends to save some cash. Hope to see yall at the Grill!
Folow up question for TR members. Is there a TR section? I have not yet bought my match day ticket and would like to sit with TR members if possible.

Hey Mike, I got my tickets thru a TR link, which I think was posted on this forum at some point. Section E4 seemed to be for NYCFC fans. Good Luck
Ended up getting a block of 5 seats in E3. I thought I heard something about TR in E4 but it was basically sold out so i pulled the trigger on the next best option.
Cant wait to finally see NYCFC!
I just looked at some of the videos on their youtube channel. Hopefully they upgrade from the 480p broadcasts they have been doing. The play by play seems pretty solid so that will help clear up what is happening on the field when you can't make out numbers etc. I am glad to see that they archive most everything they broadcast so if you can't watch the game in real time you can watch it later at your convenience.

Interesting fact: The play by play guy for the Charleston Battery is also their president, Andrew Bell.
Should we begin coordinating any chants/songs for this tourney? Not gonna lie, I'm kinda nervous that without a SG there, we are going to be vastly out-noised by Orlando.. Perhaps we can finalize this Daniel Island Grill meetup to make sure we're all on the same page before the match!
