MLS has a pretty extensive internal media team, and they seem to have a ton of autonomy. I think this is because MLS is generally undercovered in the press, so they have to create their own content, and that really only works if the scribes are given freedom to roam. That they would come up with a video like this is hilarious, but perhaps not surprising. This is the same group that puts out a weekly video breaking down all the mistakes made by referees in league games. What other major sports league does something like that?
