Where's a good spot to watch the Euro's today? Manhattan preferred but can do Queens as I'm leaving work early for it.

Was also slightly intrigued, found this:

"Fan Zone"

Never been to it, but looked interesting. I know Hofbrau Haus will probably have a viewing (right by Grand Central), Smithfields, if you are in Queens try the Bohemian Beer Garden, I'm pretty sure they'll have something for the Euros this afternoon. Definitely have good beer..

I saw that Governors Island thing... looked strange tbh.

Hofbrau is right by my office and great and was my primary plan. Haven't been to the beer garden in about a year so might make the trip out there. Smithfields might also be a good call.

I wonder if there are any Belgian or Welsh heavy bars in NYC.

The USMNT played 4 teams in the Brazil WC. 3 of those 4 teams could find themselves in the semi-finals of the Euros. The 4th team plays in Africa, and lost in the final of the Africa Cup of Nations on Penalties last year. Think we had a tough draw?

Wales advance to the semifinals after defeating NUMBER 1 IN THE EUROPE Belgium.

Ronaldo vs. Bale in the semifinals. I'm rocking a half chub.

Tied 1-1 after 90' then 120', Germany and Italy go into penalties to decide a semifinal spot. Germany missing three spot kicks, more than all other misses combined in major tournaments, advance 6-5.

Neuer > Buffon

It's gotta be a bummer to be Zaza... Subbed on at the end of AET specifically to take a penalty kick, and then he skies it. Yikes.

I do feel like Germany were the better team overall, though. Which is too bad, because Italy had been brilliant up to this point in the tournament. Ah well. What's the Italian equivalent of c'est la vie?

France up 2-0 after 20'. 2 goals in 8 minutes. I guess the massacre is scheduled for the later match on ESPN.

COME ON ICELAND!

I wonder if The White Stripes are aware that basically every national team's fans chant Seven Nation Army?

France Game was the icing on the cake for me. Still not sure if they can beat Germany but I'm certainly hyped for Thursday now.

Thank God the France game is on Thursday. If it was Wednesday (Wales-Belgium), Vieria wouldn't be ready to coach us versus the Revolution that night.

Allez Les Bleus ! I'll admit I did not think they'd pull it off for most of the first half. Possession stats were ugly from a French POV but Germany couldn't finish and they have enough attacking talent to have hope of landing a blow against the run. Would have taken the lead before Germany gifted them the PK if Giroud had any speed or had passed it to Griezmann. Griezmann the man of the tournament for me. Special level player who shouldn't be underrated anymore after this.
