I see this to a certain degree, but I really don't think it has been all that much better in MLS. There are some who use it well, but ultimately, there's a ton of room for improvement in MLS.
Studs to the leg isnt soft. Surprised she didnt also pick up a yellow once VAR looked at it.

Yeah, it was a clear raking of the side of the leg. A clear foul in the box. Now, I do agree that there wasn't a massive advantage gained by the defense with the foul. In terms of danger, there really wasn't a ton, whether or not she was fouled. But it was a clear foul and seeing it slowed down on the VAR was obvious.
Until the EIGHTY FIFTH minute? I understand maybe waiting until, say, the 70th, but jesus. Also, Morgan was getting ruined out there and needed to come off. So weird. Also, you get a fourth sub for extra time anyway.
its a tough one for me. because while it wasnt intentional she was making her body kinda big before she tried moving it away. if it never touches her arm its probably going in the goal. I just dont know anymore. all i know is that the rules are way too subjective and they need to do something about it.
I don’t think there is a way to make the handball rule objective and not subjective.
To me it looked more like she was turning to see where the ball was going and was balancing herself, which is totally a natural thing to do. She had just enough time to see where the ball was and the "oh shit" moment when she pulled her hand back was enough to see for me. If we say all handballs cause penalties, sure I'll give it. But if we say only [intentional] handballs cause penalties, this one was in my opinion 100% unintentional, and giving her a yellow card just rubbed salt in the wounds.
