They're both in, looks like.
Charlotte in the clear driver's seat for #30 but MLS loves Las Vegas. I wouldn't be surprised to see an announcement to 32 by this time next summer with both Charlotte and Las Vegas announced, and the last spot held open for a while.
EDIT: Because it's fun:
EAST | Toronto, Montreal, New England, New York City, New York Red Bulls, Philadelphia, Orlando, Miami
CENTRAL | Saint Louis, Chicago, Columbus, Cincinnati, Nashville, Atlanta, Charlotte, DC United
MOUNTAIN | Real Salt Lake, Colorado, Minnesota, Sporting KC, Dallas, Austin, Houston
PACIFIC | Vancouver, Seattle, Portland, Sacramento, San Jose, Los Angeles FC, Los Angeles Galaxy
*Las Vegas in either Mountain or Pacific depending on final expansion team
**Final expansion contested by Phoenix, San Diego, and the Oakland Roots (my dark horse)
***Indy and Raleigh bids fade
30 game regular season plus 4 week post season
Leagues Cup expanded to full MLS participation and 3+ guaranteed games (group stage?)
US Open Cup expanded to 32 MLS teams joining in Round of 64
CCL participation reduced to two teams, MLS Supporters Shield and US Open Cup
