I hope they embrace their connection to the Sycuan Tribe in the ownership and come up with a unique name, but it looks like we might end up with something generic.

I thought I read that they wanted 32 teams, so I’m not sure they’re done. But they’re now obviously waiting to see how the schedule change impacts things.
I was reading some articles related to San Diego and apparently Garner said during the expansion interviews that they aren't looking past 30 anytime soon.
Obviously that could change rather fa$t but makes me wonder if we'll have a few stable years in this format.
MLS franchise values have risen rapidly in the last few years. I bet they are going to take a pause until after the World Cup, hoping for an additional jump in value to maximize the next round of expansion fees.
